Keith Adams Guitars

Concert classical guitars by luthier Keith Adams insure the following qualities:

All notes play evenly over the entire range of each string and there is a good balance between volume to fill a concert hall but without sacrificing the warmth and intimate voice of the guitar.

The guitars are resonant and quick to respond with little force from the fingers.

They can be played very softly with clarity and sustain which give the player a broader dynamic range.

The tone should be clear yet warm.

The instruments should be easy and exciting to play and the overall voice of the instrument must be beautiful.

Welcome to the MLC Guitar Grant Program page!

The goal of the program is to make an annual presentation of a concert-quality instrument to a deserving student of classical guitar in the St. Louis, MO area. This instrument will become the personal property of the recipient and will hopefully enable and inspire them in their mastery of the instrument. Our long-term goal is to help strengthen the St. Louis area as a center for classical guitar study and performance.

If you are a dedicated student of classical guitar in the St. Louis, MO area you may qualify for our grant.  Look at the attached information for all qualifications and get started by filling out an application and other supporting documentation.  If you are an educator or coach, please pass this information along to your qualifying students.

We will be accepting applications for the 2023 Guitar Grant beginning September 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024.

St. Louis Classical Guitar is now a sponsor of this program and will be overtaking the application process. We look forward to hearing from you!
