SLCG Solo & Ensemble Festival 2025

Congratulations to all guitar students who participated in our Solo & Ensemble Festival on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at UMSL’s Music Department! These young guitarists performed for adjudicators, local classical guitar educators Kirk Hanser and W Mark Akin, receiving feedback and ratings. What an amazing experience and day of learning! Great job to the students and teachers from Childbloom Guitar Program of St. Charles County, Childbloom Guitar Program of Metro St. Louis, and Schuyler R-1 School District.

This year, thanks to the Des Lee Fine Arts Education Collaborative, the festival was held at the UMSL Music Department.
