David Leisner (guitar) and Michael Kelly (baritone) join forces to present Franz Schubert’s song cycle Die schöne Müllerin arranged for guitar and voice. The work tells the story of a young man wandering through the countryside who falls in love with a miller’s beautiful daughter. It is known for exceptionally challenging piano accompaniment which David has masterfully arranged for solo guitar. You don’t want to miss this Special Blend!

Mak plays Francesco da Milano's Fantasia XIII. Recorded at the Guitar Salon International showroom in Santa Monica, CA. Huge thanks to the folks at Apogee Electronics (ApogeeDigital.com) for the use of their Ensemble interface in these recordings.

Mak Grgić’s St. Louis debut will be such a unique performance that we’re doing it 2 nights in a row! The evening includes a solo guitar recital followed by Mak’s impressive program of chamber music featuring St. Louis musicians. We are so excited to be partnering with The Chamber Music Society of St. Louis to bring this one of a kind performance to you. The only decision you’ll have to make is whether you’ll join us Monday or Tuesday night – or both!
